Blog Post Entry #3: Descriptive of breath enhancer

In this Blog post, I will be describing to you what happens when you eat something that could have the potential to damage you both mentally and physically, I am about to eat something small and crystal like, with a light sweetness and warming sensation followed by an "after cooling" effect. At least that is what the description reads on the icey blue, sparkeling packaging. What follows next is the true version of what actually happened when I popped that little button of tatsebud killing; razorblade infused; flamethrowing pill of pain and sinus misery. I probably should have stopped as I struggled to open the package, almost taking a hammer to it, the lid popped open and out spilled the little demons of hate. So, I ate one. First, there was a slight sweetness just pleasent and light, so far so good, I swirled it around in my mouth a bit. About twenty-five seconds later, a fresh winter cooling sensation, like when you scrape a big block of ice, nice and chilly. That lasted for about thirty seconds, it was pleasent. What I was not ready for was the next one minute and eighteen seconds, I really do think I heard chainsaws start up at this point. My toungue began to burn, and I dont mean like a hot cup of coffee kind either. This burning was real intense, and yet still had flavor, I belive this is the trick to get you to keep it in your mouth a bit longer, you know to get the "full effect" of the punishment. However I did not spit it out, this was a challange! The next feeling was something along the lines of a thousand stinging papercuts, and fire, lots of fire. My sinus was now smoldering or mabye melting, I was never really sure about that. Ether way, that was one of the physical damages I incurred along with watering eyes, and oh the buckets of tears. These little bits were wicked evil! Like an idiot I was still waiting for the cooling after effect, it never showed. But for twenty minutes or so I wiped , blew and flushed all my facial orafices. I flushed until I could almost talk with out my tongue flopping around like an old clown shoe. This mistake brought me right back to the time I tried just a tiny little, itty bitty, tatse of ghost pepper white sauce. I did not go to the hospital but, I was close. I hope you never have to experince this, but if you do, Blog about it!

  1. I really enjoyed your post! Your short sentences and details were very engaging! I also liked how you talked about the whole process of you opening the wrapper, chewing it, what it taste like and gave a detail relating it to ghost pepper white sauce!

  3. This was an interesting twist to something that I personally enjoy. I am surprised though that the chainsaws were there, I never had any chainsaws with mine. You described this really well and I hope you can learn to enjoy them. Maybe try a different kind, it might change your opinion of them.

  4. This was a very creative post! I love the descriptive wording, especially the phrase “crystal like,” I never would have thought of that myself. Some candies are definitely fiery like the one you described. I personally prefer the sweeter ones.

Blog post #9 Healthy Hearts

That's correct, your age and diet can affect how your hearts health continues as you age. Young people who consume diets of heavily processed food for years become the group with a high risk for heart disease and stroke due to high blood pressure and high cholesterol. As of now the CDC recommends a calorie intake of less than 2,300 mg a day. Unfortunately most Americans take in 3,400 mg a day, that is way too much! Good news though, you can lower your risk by eating foods with less sodium and saturated fats. Eat more food that is higher in fiber and try working out 3 to 4 days a week, or at least walking daily.   Eating better is proven to stop the onset of type 2 diabetes, many people who are overweight and obese suffer from this or at least pre-diabetes.  So it really is up to us as adults...
